Government and GLC contracts
CIMB Islamic Awam-i specifies a minimum three-month contract for eligible sectors, with ANGKASA deduction and gross income of at least RM1,400. Maybank Salary Financing-i lists specific Federal Government contract professions and requires at least one year of completed contract service.
Private-sector contracts
Ask the provider whether it accepts your employer category and contract. Public-sector criteria do not carry over to private-sector applications. For example, Bank Muamalat lists contract workers as ineligible for Cash-i Muamalat.
Documents to have ready
Have your contract with start and end dates, any renewal letter, payslips, salary-crediting bank statements and EPF records ready. Ask whether the lender counts the original contract term, completed service or remaining time.
